The shape of the economy, cost of gas, lost jobs, and inflation on living expenses can wreak havoc on the pocket book. In 2011, my husband and I did some investigating on our expenses to see where we could cut back. The video below shares in detail some of the things that we have tried.

Sometimes I shop at thrift stores to save a dime. The key is to go to upscale neighborhoods. I've found some nice stuff. I also shop at Ross and Marshalls or Macy's when season's are changing/clearance. I can buy name brands without paying a fortune.
ReplyDeleteYou're on to something. A friend of mine decorated her home with most items she purchased at garage sales in high class neighborhoods. A lot of times people just want to get rid of stuff and make a little change in the process. Thanks for the tip.
