Put the Pep Back in Your Step

From time to time relationships can go through a period of stagnation or hum-drum routines.  When these occasions occur, there are things that can be done to keep the pep in your step.  The key is to reconnect and enjoy each other.  Sometimes this is accomplished through memories, something new, or something different.  Below are some suggestions: 
  • Date night - Spend some quality time with your boo.  Set aside time to do something fun, out of the norm. Try a new restaurant or attend an event you normally would not have considered.
  • Role play - Creativity is key.  Be a sexy vamp, the cable guy, or whatever else comes to mind.  Spice things up with costumes and props.  Loosen up and step outside your comfort zone to make the time together extra special.
  • Love getaway -  This doesn't have to be anything elaborate or costly.  Take a ride around your area and even explore some that are new.  Enjoy the scenery.  Talk about the things you see and what you like about it.  Or if time and funds are on your side, take a weekend trip somewhere you've never been.
  • Text Messaging -  Get the juices going with flirtatious text messages to each other.
  • Adult Pillow Fight or Tickle Session - This one is pretty self-explanatory.  The goal is just to have fun.  But be careful not to tag each other too hard.  What should be a good time could go left.
  • Play Board or Video Games - Another fun activity to do with your mate.
  • Take a Walk In the Park -  Take the time to reminisce over your favorite memories in your relationship.
  • Have a good laugh - They say laughter is the best medicine.  Go to a comedy show.  Watch your favorite comedian on YouTube.
