I'm Baaaccckkk! Did Ya Miss Me????

It's been some months since I've posted anything or even made a YouTube video.  I've been dealing with a physical issue that some days has been quite unbearable.  Once I'm back to normal I plan to make a video or two to share what's been going on with me and the thoughts in my head.  I tell ya, it's good stuff. :-)

And to those of you who have reached out to check on me, thank you soooo much.  You're the best!

XOXO,
Mello

Merry Christmas One and All!!!

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder.  And His Name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."  Isaiah 9:6

May the Spirit of this season abide with you now and forevermore.  Have a wonderfully blessed Christmas.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving is the time of year that most gather with family and friends to share reasons for giving thanks while enjoying a hearty meal.  Indeed it is a blessing to share the holiday with loved ones.  On this holiday, please remember those who may not be as fortunate.  God bless you all.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Friends! How Many of Us Have Them???

Since I'm on the path of talking about reducing stress today, I felt a need to clear my head of some clutter. When I call someone a friend, it is very personal and very serious. I do not take it lightly. However, I have come to realize that for some, friendship for them changes like the weather or they use friendship as a way to create drama or have something to gossip about. When I notice things like this, it's a red flag and you can be sure that I will create distance.

Most recently, there has been an individual that I feel I can no longer call friend. This is due to a variety of factors to include creating a wedge between me and another friend, playing victim and lying to gain sympathy, broadcasting friends' personal business, talking about me and others in roundabout ways on social networks instead of talking to us face-to-face, using people selfishly, and trying to act like her stuff don't stink while she attempts to point out the problems with everyone else. This is not a healthy relationship and unfortunately trying to talk to her will be futile. How do I know? Because I've tried talking to her before and got my head bit off. Others have told her about herself before and she did the same thing. Long story short, I can not trust someone like this and have made the decision to move on.

Now that all of that is out of my mind, I feel relieved now. Back to your regularly scheduled program. ;-)

Y'all I'm on YouTube

I created a channel on YouTube as an extension of this blog as well as a way to help me deal with one of my phobias - speaking in public. I've only completed 3 videos so far, but I have learned a lot through the experience. Check me out and leave a comment to let me know that you stopped by.

UPDATE: The channel can be found here.
